About our Colombia partner
To travel is to discover and Colombian Journeys are passionate about sharing with the world Colombia’s contagious joy and ability to forge new beginnings. The team’s expertise lies in designing unique experiences that connect travellers to a Colombia which never fails to surprise.
Just as Colombia has learned from her difficult past and reinvented herself, Colombian Journeys has also learnt to turn the challenges faced into opportunities. Since 2006, their dream of sharing Colombia’s natural and cultural riches with those outside her borders has driven them forward, leading to the cultivation of lasting relationships with partners and local communities. This network provides the fertile soil into which Colombian Journeys sow the opportunities to nurture each traveller’s transformative experience.
To encounter authentic Colombia is to discover that the beauty of this culture draws its inspiration from the country’s exceptional biodiversity. Colombian Journeys design experiences that enable every traveller to uncover Colombia’s true treasure: a resilient spirit and passion for enjoying life. Their constant support for their travellers is as unwavering as their commitment to generate a positive impact for Colombia as well as for its Visitors.

Colombia

Colombia is the rising star of Latin America, currently seeing a greater increase in visitor numbers than any other country in the region. Friendly, relaxed and incredibly diverse, it’s an easy country to fall in love with. Perhaps the jewel in its crown is colonial Cartagena, founded in 1533 and more recently the setting for Gabriel Garcia Marquez’s best-selling novel, “Love in the Time of Cholera”. Here, behind seven miles of thick walls and a chain of outer forts once used to fend off pirates, lie the stately mansions, flower-filled streets, palm-lined plazas and centuries-old churches that have earned the city UNESCO World Heritage status.
