Panama Journeys is more than just a DMC; it is a close-knit family, passionate about sharing the beauty and culture of Panama. One of their standout team members is Vincent Alexander Scott Dalton—known to everyone as Tito. Born and raised in Colón on the Caribbean side of Panama, Tito is a beloved guide with a rich heritage that traces back to Jamaica and Haiti. His ancestors came to Panama in the early 1900s to work on the Panama Canal, and he carries that legacy proudly.

Tito’s journey into tour guiding began early, at the age of 16. His father, also a guide, passed down his skills in the “old-fashioned way,” instilling in Tito a deep love for Panama’s history, nature, and culture. With nearly three decades of experience, Tito has become an invaluable part of our team and a favorite among travellers, guiding almost two thousand visitors each year through Panama’s wonders. His knowledge spans everything from local traditions and history to the country’s diverse flora and fauna.
Beyond his career, Tito is a dedicated family man. He is happily married to his wife, Norma, and together they have two wonderful children, Bryan and Valerie. They’re a proud Panamanian family with a deep love for their heritage. When he’s not guiding, Tito finds joy in the simple pleasures: dancing, music, beach outings, and sports like basketball, table tennis, and hiking. His adventurous spirit often leads him to the top of hills, where he finds peace in the beauty of Panama’s landscapes and the diversity of its wildlife.

Tito is more than a guide; he’s an ambassador of Panama, known for his professionalism, punctuality, and courtesy. His enthusiasm for sharing Panama’s culture and natural beauty is evident in every tour, making him a treasured part of the Panama Journeys family and an unforgettable guide for all who meet him.
