Ecuador

Ecuador is located in the North – Western area of South America, precisely in the middle of the world. Due to its geographical position on the Equator, this small country is known as a land of contrasts. In a single day you could take an early morning walk in the Amazon, drive up through a valley of active volcanoes and past verdant cloud forest before winding down to the Pacific coast in time for a succulent seafood dinner.

This beautiful country has an ample variety of climates and landscapes ranging from charming beaches at sea level to snow-capped peaks reaching 6,300 metres high. From the beautiful coastal region to the imposing Andes Mountains and the Amazon rainforest it is possible to observe hundreds of natural species, and experience ancestral cultures living in harmony with the environment while maintaining their own cultures and lifestyles.

Furthermore, only 1,050 km away from the mainland, visitors can also enjoy the spectacular Galapagos Islands, considered one of the most fascinating places on our planet, and known for their incredible biodiversity and history. Many animals here are unique to this region and cannot be found anywhere else in the world, while beautiful landscapes and volcanic islands are example of nature at its finest.

My passion for travel began in childhood. I have always loved discovering new things, reinventing myself, and living with a constant spirit of exploration as my guiding principle. After more than 30 years as a guide—through remote jungles, impressive volcanoes, the mysterious Cloud Forest, the magical Galapagos, and the lost trails of the Andes on horseback—I can say there is nothing quite like sharing unforgettable moments with local cultures and returning home with an incredible story.

I first started working as a guide while I was studying tourism at university. Spending just a few days with such interesting and diverse groups of people from around the world opened my eyes, and from that moment on, I knew I wanted to show others the authentic side of my country. Eventually, I realized that starting my own company would be a fantastic way to share my vision of how beautiful my country truly is, and it has been one of the best decisions I have ever made.

From an early age, I was fortunate to discover Ecuador and meet extraordinary people through my connection to the world of tourism. My father was a guide for most of his professional live, sparking my curiosity for the unknown.

Today, I am a trail runner and mountain adventure enthusiast. I dedicate my time to discovering the small, wonderful universes hidden among Ecuador’s mountain ranges, valleys, slopes, and communities—one trail at a time.

I want to continue sharing this fascination with the unknown and open the door for others, as I once did, to find inspiration along the trails of this extraordinary country, the authentic way.
