Ecuador is located in the North – Western area of South America, precisely in the middle of the world. Due to its geographical position on the Equator, this small country is known as a land of contrasts. In a single day you could take an early morning walk in the Amazon, drive up through a valley of active volcanoes and past verdant cloud forest before winding down to the Pacific coast in time for a succulent seafood dinner.
